In the summer of 2004 Weimar approached the university department of Art in Public Spaces to enter the city for a national competition entitled "Unsere Stadt blüht auf" (“Our City in Bloom“). This was part of the EU project Entente florale . According to the city, the railway underpass near the station on Ettersburger Straße was not a pleasant place for pedestrians. The audio-intervention Verführung on this site asks whether it is even possible for art to 'sweeten' such infrastructurally necessary sites. On the tunnel wall above the pedestrian path she mounted eight small speakers. As they passed through the tunnel, pedestrians triggered a device which allowed Thuringian cookery recipes to be recited.
